It seems we're not so prude after all as it's revealed more than half (59%) of UK residents would get butt naked on holiday.
As searches for Nudist holidays rise by 52%, a survey from lastminute.com reveals 35% of men and 17% of women would bare it all on beach.
Around eight per cent of Brits have already been on a nudist holiday, but you probably wouldn't know it as a whopping 33% of self-confessed nudists admit they keep it secret from friends, family and colleagues.
Andrew Welch, British Naturism, the UK"s organisation for Naturists said: "We know that people are far more willing to try social nudity and so it"s great to have confirmation that more and more of us are letting go of any hang-ups and are feeling comfortable in the skin we"re in.
"For those visiting a Naturist/Nudist beach for the first time, the best advice is to relax, enjoy the sensation of the sun, breeze and sea on your whole body and realise that no one is worried about how you look.”
So would YOU brave a nudist resort? If you want to feel truly free and easy, why not trade your shorts and skirts for your birthday suit at one of these stunning nudist resorts.

However, if you don't fancy venturing that far from home, there are plenty of nudist beaches here in Britain.
In fact, there are more than 50 nudist beaches where naturists swim and sunbathe as naked as the day they were born.
Some – such as Black Rock in Brighton – are official nudist beaches, right around the corner from a city centre.
But others like St Osyth, near Clacton-on-Sea, Essex are hidden gems where you can sun your bits away from prying eyes.
We've insulted a handy map to help you find the closest nudist beach to you.
