AACTA Awards 2024: Cate Blanchett shines in a retro-style jumpsuit as she brings Hollywood glamour t

Posted by Reinaldo Massengill on Thursday, September 12, 2024

She is one of the most impeccably dressed women in Hollywood.

And Cate Blanchett scored yet another fashion coup at the 2024 ACTAA Awards on the Gold Coast on Saturday afternoon.

The 54-year-old Aussie actress looked incredibly stylish in a retro-style jumpsuit, which featured a gold metallic one-sleeved bodice and black velvet trousers.

She let the unique ensemble do the talking by accessorising with a gold bangle and slipping on some matching black suede stilettos.

Cate lets her natural beauty shine through by wearing minimal makeup and her blonde long bob styled in beachy waves.

The Elizabeth star was beaming as she walked the red carpet ahead of the awards show where she is nominated for Best Lead Actress for The New Boy.

The New Boy is set in Australia in the 1940s and centres around a nine-year-old Aboriginal boy who goes to live in a remote monastery, run by a renegade nun played by Blanchett.

Meanwhile, the award-winning actress and Michael Fassbender are currently set to lead the Steven Soderbergh spy thriller Black Bag, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Blanchett also has three new projects either being shot or in some phase of post-production.

As for Fassbender, 46, he last starred in Taika Waititi's sports comedy-drama film Next Goal Wins (2023).

The details of their new pairing in Black Bag have been kept under wraps for the most part, however, the outlet noted that Black Bag will be set in the UK.

Soderbergh will be directing the feature project that was written by David Keopp, who is considered by many in the industry as one of the more established screenwriters in Hollywood.
